Job Description of Bartender

Bartenders mix drinks and serve them to customers at restaurants, bars, clubs, hotels, and other food service and drinking establishments. They work during busy hours to keep operations running smoothly.

They work with wait staff to provide alcoholic and non-alcoholic specialty beverages to patrons. They may also collect payment from customers.

They are responsible for maintaining an adequate inventory of liquor, mixers, and other supplies. They also clean and stock bars, and wash glassware and utensils. This job requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to quickly handle large drink orders.

Job Duties of Bartender

As a Bartender, you’ll be serving guests in the Dining Room. This position requires excellent customer service skills and a strong background in bartending in fine dining restaurants.

The Lodge is situated at the end of a beautiful secluded inlet with spectacular views overlooking the ocean and the pristine rainforest. Adventure tours, trips and rentals are also available to take you to the nearby Skookumchuck Rapids, Princess Louisa Inlet and Lone Tree Island.

Skills and Knowledge as a Bartender

Bartenders need a wide variety of skills to perform their job. This includes communication, customer service, and decision making. Often, bartenders must work in teams to provide guests with their drinks and meals.
